Alternative Pathway

We are extremely proud to welcome you to La Passerelle. We are another pathway within La Passerelle, and we are as equally committed to motivating, supporting and inspiring pupils to re-engage with their education. We aim to provide every pupil with a bespoke education offer.

Our dedicated team of specialist staff aim to provide a broad and balanced education that goes beyond the academic, and aims to develop the whole person – responsible, reflective young people that can fulfil their potential.

La Passerelle is buzzing with positive attitudes and behaviour, and is a place where staff inspire and support all learners to be the best that they can be. We are a small community which allows us to really get to know our pupils and their families, building strong, positive working relationships.

At La Passerelle, we are like a family, and we encourage our pupils, families and the wider community to be actively involved in our school life. We are proud of our small community and proud of how we work together as a family. We have an excellent record of ensuring that all our young people reach a positive destination, whether that be La Passerelle Secondary School, college, apprenticeships or employment.

Our ethos is based around La Passerelle values. Every person in our school should feel valued, and our key expectations are to be safe, be respectful and be ready to learn. We take great pride in our school, from how inclusive and welcoming we are, through to presentation and conduct, and we encourage our pupils to take ownership of this, and consider what positive change looks like for them. Every pupil has their own journey that they are on, and we will give each of them our very best in supporting them along that journey.
